Details of the Resident Discount Program with Fannin Tree Farms are now online.
Following are the trees selected by the Landscape Committee (now part of the Facilities Committee) as “preferred trees”. These trees can be purchased directly from Fannin at greatly reduced rates:
- Bald Cypress
- Chinese Pistachio
- Lace Bark Elm
- Red Oak
- Little Gem Magnolia
- Cedar Elm
- Live Oak

The Fannin - Heritage Lakes Discount Program:
The Landscape Committee has negotiated with Fannin to provide trees to the residents of Heritage Lakes at reduced rates. There are two different pricing structures:
- A resident may purchase individual trees at a discounted rate
- Residents may purchase 10 trees or more at the same rate paid by the association. These may be combined with neighbors trees to meet the 10 tree requirement. (the 10 tree figure deals with Fannin’s cost to bring out equipment, etc.)

NOTE: The ACC has completed work on expedited tree planting guidelines. All trees planted still require ACC approval. Click here for more info on how easy it can be!
